Reporting to Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of a range of traditional and sophisticated mining equipment.;
• Supporting the operation in preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance work processes and providing feedback to optimize reliability;
• Adhering to and promoting all safety policies, procedures and systems;
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement of area activities or problem equipment;
• Perform daily tasks using Computer Maintenance Management Systems.

• The ideal candidate will be a team player with a who possesses:
• Certificate of Qualification in Heavy Equipment
• Preference to individuals with minimum three (3) years’ experience.
• A motivated attitude, a dynamic approach to getting tasks complete, and pride in accomplishment and craftsmanship.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, locate, identify and diagnose malfunctions.
• Strong ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with peers, engineering, and management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and interest in continuous learning and improvement.
• Primary experience with surface loaders/haul truck such as;
  Caterpillar and John Deer.
• Secondary experience with U/G equipment such as:
  Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Mac Lean, Marcotte & Kubota tractors would be considered an asset.
