As a skilled Millwright at Interfor, you will be engaged in optimizing equipment efficiency and conducting repairs on various machinery. You will also respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns, ensuring consistent operations. Strong safety practices and technical expertise are essential to thrive in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic components
• Identify causes of machinery breakdowns for repairs
• Optimize and adjust all mill equipment for efficiency
• Respond to mechanical emergencies affecting operations
• Operate machining tools to manufacture parts
Requirements:
• Red Seal Millwright or Planer Technician certification
• Strong safety background and communication skills
• Experience in sawmill or planer operations
• Solid technical and troubleshooting abilities
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
