Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will devise and enact blasting strategies that meet client specifications. Candidates should possess 2-5 years of hands-on blasting experience and a strong adherence to safety regulations. This role is essential for maintaining effective operations in mining and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and detonate planned blasts for rock removal
• Ensure full compliance with safety guidelines
• Handle explosives and connect ignition systems
• Complete necessary blasting documentation
• Maintain effective communication with customers and teams
Requirements:
• Blaster certification is essential
• 2-5 years of experience in the industry
• Understanding of explosive products and transport legislation
• Strong teamwork and prioritization skills
• Ability to cope with challenging environments
