Keep the mine moving.  We’re looking for a skilled Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician to join our underground service team in Timmins. Working for Komatsu you will be part of our growing underground mining team, supporting our legacy MTI, Montabert, Timberock and Joy Global family of equipment along with our expanded full suite of Komatsu underground mining machines. General Supervisor

Shift:  5x2, 7x7 or 14x14- discussed during recruitment process

Allowances:

This role is eligible for additional premiums and company provided service vehicle
Safety Sensitive:  Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required
Travel:  Up to 40- 60% travel required for this role

Key Job Responsibilities     Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing on Komatsu underground mining equipment including LHDs, haul trucks, jumbos, bolters and drifters
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, diesel engine, hydraulic, battery electric and electrical systems
