Accounting Specialist - Accounts Receivables and Collections

Brighton Solutions is seeking an Accounting Specialist with experience in A/R (accounts receivables) and Collections. In this role, you will be joining a finance team that is professional and expanding to meet the demands of the business.

In this role, you will be supporting multiple tasks including:

• Maintenance of bookkeeping databases (such as Netsuite, Quick Books, Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)) and spreadsheets and updating A/R data as needed
• Tracking payments and logging them into the databases
• Gathering data and reaching out to clients to provide invoicing updates
• Creating reports for review with the finance team

To perform this role effectively, we are seeking an individual with:

• 5+ years experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably with experience in A/R or Collections
• Experience working with Accounting Software
• Education of an Associates degree or higher would be preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Strong communications skills
• A team player

This role can be supported on a hybrid work environment basis - 2-3 days onsite per week.

This is a contract role with an expected duration of about 6 months. This will require full time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week typically.
