• Collecting, verifying, and managing patients’ dental insurance benefits and claims
• Performing related administrative tasks such as processing forms, reports, and emails
• Coordinating with dental office staff to schedule meetings, appointments, and procedures
• Analyzing insurance policies to determine coverage for specific services and procedures
• Communicating with patients about their appointments, treatments plans, and billing processes
• Estimating costs for patients based on their insurance coverage
• Preparing and processing claims for insurance companies
• Interpreting medical information from doctor’s notes to patients’ records
• Ensuring patients fully understand their health insurance benefits and financial responsibilities
• Entering patients’ and insurance data into the appropriate management system
• Generating and maintaining reports of all insurance activities
• Following up on non-paid insurance claims, late payments, and overdue accounts
• Processing and verifying insurance payments and refunds
