Responsibilities
  • Understanding all aspects of how the office is most efficiently and effectively run
  • Managing day-to-day operations including payments, collections, and insurance
  • Taking personal ownership of business and exemplifying consummate professionalism
  • Motivating a diverse team and fostering a cooperative and collaborative environment
  • Leading and inspiring enthusiasm during morning huddles and weekly meetings
  • Creating and maintaining a pleasant and respectful work environment for patients and staff
  • Demonstrating responsiveness, urgency, and sensitivity to patient and parent needs
  • Overseeing patient relations and resolving any complaints or unfavorable reviews
  • Achieving all budgeted goals and objectives through perseverance and quality work ethic
  • Coordinating staff schedules, team meetings, events, community outreach, and travel
  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, retaining, and dismissing office staff as needed
  • Monitoring and assessing team members by providing honest and consistent feedback
  • Adapting leadership style to optimally suit a variety of unique people and situations
  • Guiding conflict resolution for any disputes among staff, vendors, or community
  • Supervising social media accounts, correspondence, marketing, and public relations
  • Ensuring safety and compliance with records, policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Setting up coworkers for success by knowing what they need and when they need it
Qualifications

  • Management experience in a medical office with insurance and EMR
  • Familiarity working with dental software, coding, and billing preferred
