Job Summary
Position Title:
Security/ Event Staff
Important Note:
This position is part-time/seasonal with hours beginning May 2026 and working through October 2026.
- Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests and other persons.
- Guard against theft and maintain safety and security of the premises.
- Remain throughout the venue to ensure guests are conducting themselves in a safe manner that does not disrupt the event.
- Monitor crowd for behavior that needs to be addressed by venue management or law enforcement personnel.
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into the venue, including searching bags, purses, etc.
- Participate in the post‑show cleanup of the venue, which may include collecting recycling, compost and trash from the lawn or reserved section.
- Partner with fellow crew members at the end of the show to close the venue, which may include picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs.
- Provide great customer service to all guests to ensure a memorable experience.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
- Be able to work during all weather conditions, as the venue is outdoor.
- Perform constant walking or standing in one place for long periods of time.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Security/Law Enforcement experience not required.
- Customer‑service friendly attitude and good communication skills.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional manner, including appearance and making independent judgment decisions within proper policies and procedures.
- Availability for varying hours based on events, primarily evenings and weekends.
- U.S. applicants must possess work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship for a visa.
$15.00 USD – $17.00 USD hourly. Pay is based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
