Overview

Outside Sales Representative at Empire Today. Territory:
Tinley Park, IL. The role involves meeting with customers in their homes to help find the best flooring products for their needs. The position offers uncapped commissions, commission bonuses and incentives, and access to benefits. Empire Today is highlighted as a Forbes America s Best Midsize Employer.

Hot leads are generally within a 1-hour radius. You can leverage the strength of a well-known brand to generate referrals and prospect additional customers.

Responsibilities
  • Represent a quality brand serving customers for over 60 years.
  • Engage with customers through pre-qualified leads and in-home consultations.
  • Meet with customers to assess needs and present flooring solutions.
  • Consistently work toward sales targets and earn commissions.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions (in person and virtual).
  • Use provided tools and branding to support sales efforts.
  • Maintain relationships and explore opportunities for referrals and growth.

Requirements
  • Valid driver s license and a vehicle with room for flooring sample boards; ability to drive with sample boards.
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions (in person and virtual).
  • Business development: achieve a monthly minimum of self-generated sales.
  • Availability for evening and weekend appointments.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ability to use a tablet and laser measuring device for diagramming and contract preparation.
  • Present professionally, including in Empire branded apparel.
