Traffic Plan | Accounting Department | Full-Time

Traffic Plan is hiring a Staff Accountant to support our Accounting Department and help maintain accurate, timely, and transparent financial records across the organization.

Job Summary

The Staff Accountant supports daily accounting operations and works closely with the accounting team and other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Salary: $65,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily cash summaries and communicate cash position to management
  • Reconcile bank statements for all entities and research outstanding items
  • Record allocations including EZPass, gas cards, and related expenses
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform account reconciliations, including prepaids and accruals
  • Support monthly and annual close processes
  • Research accounting issues to ensure GAAP compliance
  • Assist with expense review, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable
  • Prepare financial reports and support special projects
  • Maintain familiarity with ERP systems
  • Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Three or more years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables and nested formulas)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements:

This position operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment. The role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands and arms. Employees may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and must be able to meet standard vision requirements for office work.

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Standard business hours: 8:00 a.m.

    - 4:30 p.m.
