Middle School Spanish Teacher

Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an education recruitment firm, is currently seeking a Middle School
Spanish Teacher starting in Fall 2026 at an independent school in Tinton Falls, NJ.

• Teach five Spanish courses across various proficiency levels for middle school students.
• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual students.
• Teach Spanish language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods.
• Create opportunities for students to practice conversational Spanish and improve pronunciation.
• Organizing fun events where students can showcase their Spanish language skills.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
• Participate in regular professional development activities to stay current with best practices and innovation in language education.
• Serve as an advisor for students ensuring student success.

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish language, Education, or equivalent required. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven written and verbal proficiency in Spanish.
• 2-5 years of previous teaching experience preferred.
• Previous middle school experience preferred.
• No teaching license or credential is required.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to be involved in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.

Compensation and benefit packages are competitive but will differ by school and will typically depend on geographic location, your experience, and your level of degree.
