Dialysis LPN

Dialysis Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides safe, effective, and timely dialysis care under the direction of the Dialysis RN and in accordance with state scope-of-practice regulations.

The Dialysis LPN assists with direct patient care, pretreatment preparation, intradialytic monitoring, documentation, vascular access care within scope, and communication of patient status to the RN, physician, and interdisciplinary team. The LPN supports dialysis operations, infection prevention practices, equipment preparation, and patient education under RN supervision.
