Registered Nurse - Shore Care - Maternity - Per Diem

The Registered Nurse in Shore Care - Maternity provides comprehensive nursing care to patients, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. This per diem role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes.

• Pay: $44/hour
• Location: Tinton Falls, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Per Diem

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Perform age and disease specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
• Develop a plan of care with patient/family centered goals.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Identify ethical issues and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Maintain competencies and adhere to nursing standards.

• Associate's degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred

• Minimum of two (2) years recent experience in specialty required (effective May 5, 2025)
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a floating professional environment required (effective May 5, 2025)

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position required
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
