Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is looking for an experienced Assistant Cheese Manager to join our Cheese Departments' busy operations! Bring your passion for cheese, hands-on experience, and love of customer service to help create an exceptional shopping experience.

Your Role:

Support a positive customer experience, providing knowledgeable guidance on cheeses, pairings, and seasonal items

Assist the Cheese Manager with ordering, inventory management, staff schedules, training, and daily operations

Pack, label, and merchandise cheese and related products according to company policies

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment

Supervise a team of Cheese Clerks

What We’re Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Cheese Department, with at least 1 year as an Assistant Cheese Manager

Strong understanding of cheese varieties, storage, temperatures, inventory, and flavor profiles

Excellent customer service skills and a high passion for cheese!

Highly organized and adaptable to changing priorities

Fluent in English

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
