The Axel Group is seeking a Business Development Manager for our client's team. This company specializes in high-end construction, renovation, and luxury home services. The role involves identifying and securing new projects, building relationships with industry professionals, and serving as the primary contact for prospective clients. The ideal candidate is polished, professional, highly motivated, and experienced in working with affluent clientele investing significantly in their homes.
Responsibilities- Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, community involvement, and strategic outreach.
- Develop relationships with architects, interior designers, real estate agents, property managers, and other referral partners.
- Attend networking events, home shows, industry functions, and community events.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Conduct initial consultations with prospective homeowners to understand goals, budgets, timelines, and project requirements.
- Present company capabilities, portfolio, and value proposition.
- Coordinate with estimating, design, and project management teams to develop proposals.
- Follow up consistently and professionally throughout the sales cycle.
- Negotiate and secure signed contracts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the pre-construction phase, ensuring a seamless, luxury-level client experience.
- Foster long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activity.
- Track sales metrics, forecast future opportunities, and provide regular reports on pipeline development and sales performance.
- Preferred but not required: 3+ years of sales experience in construction, luxury home services, real estate, remodeling, architecture, or related industries.
- Coachable with an understanding of the company's target market and strategy.
- Comfortable with numbers and able to learn basic estimating.
- Driven, results-focused, and detail-oriented.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
