The Double Tree Hotel of Tinton Falls is seeking sales professionals to join our award-winning team as Room Sales Coordinator. If you’re a passionate people person who never misses a beat, we want to hear from you.

The Room Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales team in a variety of tasks to bring in business and generate revenue. The Room Sales Coordinator should be highly organized with the ability to effectively multitask.

Requirements Responsibilities & Duties
  • Bring energy, enthusiasm, and laser-sharp focus to every client interaction, from solicitation and first contact to checkout and follow-up.
  • Demonstrate exemplary communication skills – written, over the phone, and in-person – and a fast, effective response rate with both social and corporate clients.
  • Step up to the challenge of going out on sales calls and pitching to new clients.
  • Juggle a wide range of demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pitch in and help co-workers to support the team.
  • Organize and coordinate vendor information
  • Go the extra mile to make clients feel welcome, informed, and cared for.
Compensation and Benefits include:
  • This position offers a starting rate that ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
  • Full time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's health, dental, vision, and retirement plans (once qualified).
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of sales experience, cold-calling a plus.
  • Familiar with the hospitality industry.
  • Proficient in using MS Office
  • Prior hotel experience preferred
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation is essential; traveling domestically is a requirement.
  • Experience with property management systems (PMS) and Sales Force is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
