CDL Delivery Truck Driver

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site
• Adhere to assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely
• Document every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
• Complete a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are secured and the truck complies with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Work in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unload them
• Complete and file all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
• Provide the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collect the entire due amount on COD deliveries
• Perform warehouse work, including loading and unloading of materials on or off trucks or into the warehouse as assigned
• This position does not require over-the-road travel

• Valid CDL – Class A or B
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly (common cargo will be 70‑pound bundles of shingles)
• Pre‑employment drug screen and random drug screens required
• Flatbed, straight, box and/or knuckle boom truck experience preferred
• Trailer‑mounted forklift experience preferred
• Crane certification preferred
