Job DescriptionSalary Range: $17.64 – $22.10 per hour, based on years of experience
Work Schedule: 260 days per year
Job Objective
Install, maintain, and repair computer network and telecommunications systems. Plan, design, and implement data connectivity solutions. Provide district-wide help desk and technical support services.
Minimum Qualifications- Minimum of two years of formal instruction or four years of relevant work experience in a computer-related field.
- Knowledge of technology applications and best practices within a K–12 educational environment.
- Experience with LAN/WAN connectivity and system installation.
- Programming or scripting experience preferred.
- Industry certifications such as Cisco Systems
, CompTIA
, or Microsoft networking credentials are advantageous. - Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and support current technology equipment.
- Commitment to high-performance standards, including engagement, proficiency, and resilience.
- Record free of criminal violations that would prohibit employment in a public school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Conscientious, dependable, and self-directed.
Medium strength level — frequently lifting and carrying 11 to 25 pounds.
Duties may require verbal communication; crouching; far and near visual acuity; fine and gross motor skills; reaching at, below, and above shoulder height; standing and walking; stooping; using ladders or work platforms; and operating hand and power tools.
