As a Pet Comfort Specialist, you’ll ensure that each guest in our resort receives loving care, daily enrichment, and plenty of tail wags. Your responsibilities may include:
- Feeding, exercising, and monitoring pets during their stay
- Providing enrichment and one‑on‑one attention
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, play areas, and lodging suites
- Monitoring the health and well‑being of guests and reporting concerns to medical staff
- Administering basic medications and supplements as directed
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and stress‑free environment for all animals
- Communicating clearly and professionally with pet owners and teammates
- Assisting in daycare, boarding, or training activities as needed
We’re looking for team players who are passionate about animals and eager to learn. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- A love for animals and an interest in their care and comfort
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- The ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to take direction and grow with feedback
- Basic computer literacy (email, record‑keeping systems)
Experience in pet care, vet med, or hospitality is a plus – but not required. We provide thorough, paid training.
Work Environment & ScheduleTipp to Tail is a busy, high‑energy environment with lots of interaction between pets, clients, and staff. Our team is united by a shared passion for animals and a culture of respect, support, and pride in our work.
- Schedule:
Flexible shifts available- Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Shifts range from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Double shifts (12–13 hours) are optional for interested team members
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 150 lbs
- Comfort handling dogs, cats, and exotic pets
- Frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motion
- Must be comfortable working around cleaning agents and animal allergens
- High school diploma or equivalent required (current high school students exempt)
- Must beat least 16 years old
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license preferred
- No relocation assistance provided
- Visa sponsorship is not available
