As the face of our company, the Road Dog Store Associate is absolutely vital to our business success. Your responsibilities will include the sale of fuel and other in‑store merchandise, processing transactions at the point of sale, and assisting with overall store operations while making customer service the top priority.

• Ensure each customer receives excellent customer service by greeting and acknowledging them.
• Provide customers with a quick and efficient check‑out experience.
• Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, check, gift card, and credit/debit card.
• Follow all city, county, and state regulations regarding the transaction of tobacco products, lottery tickets, and alcohol.
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of merchandise and restock and front merchandise as needed.
• Assist with general store operations as needed by the store manager and contribute to the overall security of the facility.
• Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
• Use the point‑of‑sale system and cash register.
• Assist with stocking of products and supplies.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the cooler.

• Operate a cash register and handle cash at high levels of accuracy.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers of varying levels of demeanor.
• Ability to assess a situation and make a logical decision.
• Bring a quality personality to build a team that enjoys spending time together.
• Be a team player, have a positive attitude, and maintain a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

• Stand for prolonged periods with occasional walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, and climbing as required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
