About the RoleCSL Technology Solutions is hiring a Lead Journeyman Level Electrician / Electrical Field Technician for year‑round commercial and industrial field work.
This is a hands‑on lead role for an experienced electrician who can perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, repairs, and field work while helping guide other technicians on the jobsite.
This role is a good fit for someone who:

Field teams work on many different types of projects, giving experienced electricians the chance to keep building skills and work with different areas of the NEC.
Schedule and TravelThis is a field‑based role with regular travel.
- Monday through Friday travel schedule most weeks
- Weekly travel in Ohio and surrounding states
- Day, evening, and overnight shifts may be required based on project needs
- Indoor and outdoor work

When working off‑shift projects, daily hours may be 10 to 12 hours. This helps complete some projects in four days instead of five, so field team members may occasionally have Fridays off.
What You Will DoYou will help lead and perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and repairs in commercial and industrial environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and support field technicians on assigned jobsites
- Help coordinate daily field tasks, workflow, tools, materials, and job progress
- Install, troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair electrical equipment, lighting, circuitry, and building electrical systems
- Maintain and repair indoor and outdoor electrical systems
- Assist with layout and installation of wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and code requirements
- Bend conduit, install conduit, pipes, or tubing, and pull wire or cable
- Install and troubleshoot panels, junction boxes, transformers, ballasts, lighting systems, and control systems
- Inspect and test lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits
- Use test meters and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues
- Work safely from bucket trucks, scissor lifts, boom lifts, ladders, scaffolds, rooftops, and other elevated work areas
- Complete trenching, concrete work, and other field tasks as needed to complete the job
- Review jobsite conditions and communicate safety concerns
- Help ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently
- Communicate job progress, material needs, project issues, and schedule concerns to project managers and team members
- Help train, guide, and support less experienced field technicians
- Represent CSL professionally with customers, contractors, vendors, and team members
