AboutThe Role
CSL Technology Solutions is growing and expanding into new business areas. We are hiring a Commercial Electrician / Electrical Field Technician to support electrical installation, troubleshooting, upgrades, repairs, and field projects.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys electrical work, problem-solving, travel, and working on a variety of commercial and industrial projects.
Our field technicians work on many different types of projects. This gives team members the chance to keep learning, build experience, and work with different areas of the National Electrical Code, NEC.

Schedule and TravelThis is a field-based role with regular travel.
Monday through Friday travel schedule most weeks
Weekly travel in Ohio and surrounding states
Day, evening, and overnight shifts are required based on project needs
Indoor and outdoor work
Year-round work
When working off-shift projects, daily hours may be 10 to 12 hours. This helps complete some projects in four days instead of five, so Field Technicians occasionally have Fridays off.

What You Will DoYou will help install, troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
- Install, troubleshoot, upgrade, and repair electrical equipment, lighting, circuitry, and building electrical systems
- Maintain and repair indoor and outdoor electrical systems
- Assist with layout and installation of wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local code
- Bend conduit, install conduit, pipes, or tubing, and pull wire or cable
- Install and troubleshoot panels, junction boxes, transformers, ballasts, and control systems
- Inspect and test lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits
- Work safely from bucket trucks, scissor lifts, boom lifts, ladders, scaffolds, and rooftops
- Complete trenching, concrete work, and other tasks as required to complete the job
- Work closely with project managers, contractors and others to ensure timely results and efficient project completion
- Communicate job progress, material needs, and safety concerns to the team
- 2 or more years of hands-on electrical, commercial electrical, maintenance, or field service experience
- Valid Ohio or U.S. driver's license
- Ability to obtain DOT certification
- Ability to work from basic blueprints, schematics, job instructions, or work orders
