The Brevard County Sheriff's Office is seeking a dedicated individual to perform accounting functions and financial management reporting in Florida. The role involves preparation, disbursement, maintenance, review, and reconciliation of payroll while ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, along with relevant experience in government and/or accounting. Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, and experience with governmental accounting is preferred. This position is a full-time role with competitive benefits.
