RANDALL’sTitusville Electrical Division is seekinga top-tier, career-driven Electrical Design Analyst to support the successful estimating, planning, and delivery oflarge-scale commercial electrical construction projects along the Space Coast of Florida from our office in Titusville.

The Design Analysis Specialist is responsible for reviewing construction drawings,specifications, design narratives, scopes of work, subcontractor proposals, and quantity takeoffs to identify design conflicts, missing information, quantitydiscrepancies, constructability concerns, and potential financial exposurebefore and during construction.

This position serves as the technical link between estimating, project management,field operations, BIM/VDC, engineering, general contractors, design professionals, vendors, and subcontractors. The primary objective is to verify that the written scope, design documents, quantities, labor assumptions,material requirements, and installation methods align before Randall Electricalcommits to pricing or construction.

The roleis intended to reduce scope gaps, prevent unplanned costs, improve change-orderdocumentation, and provide management with clear technical and financial analysis.

• Review electrical, civil,structural, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, fire-protection, and sitedrawings affecting Randall’s scope.
• Compare drawings againstspecifications, addenda, narratives, bid forms, schedules, andsubcontractor proposals.
• Identify conflicts between planviews, details, one-line diagrams, schedules, sections, and writtenrequirements.
• Confirm thatissued-for-construction documents contain sufficient information to priceand construct the work.
• Track revisions between drawingsets and identify resulting scope, quantity, labor, and cost impacts.
• Maintain a design-analysis logshowing open questions, responsible parties, required responses, and potential cost exposure.

• Independently verify majorquantities, including:
• Conduitand duct-bank footage.
• Trenchfootage, width, depth, and excavation volume.
• Concreteencasement and flowable-fill quantities.
• Conductorsand cable lengths.
• Equipmentcounts.
• Groundingquantities.
• Manholes,pull boxes, hand-holes, supports, racks, and accessories.
• Confirm that materialquantities align with the described installation configuration.
• Identify mathematicalinconsistencies, duplicated quantities, missing quantities, andunsupported allowances.
• Develop calculation sheetsshowing the basis for each conclusion.

• Evaluate whether the proposedinstallation can be constructed as shown.
• Review access, sequencing,equipment needs, excavation limits, crane and lift requirements, material handling, and trade coordination.
• Identify conflicts involvingelevations, clearances, routing, foundations, underground utilities,structural steel, mechanical systems, and architectural features.
• Evaluate whether proposedproduction rates are reasonable based on site conditions and installationrequirements.
• Recommend alternativeinstallation methods, prefabrication opportunities, and value-engineeringoptions.
• Coordinate with field leadership to validate labor and production assumptions.

• Review vendor and subcontractorproposals before award.
• Confirm that proposalquantities, exclusions, clarifications, and assumptions agree with Randall’s contract requirements.
