Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Fabrication SpecialistLevel C position in Kennedy Space Center, FL.
Position Responsibilities- Disassemble systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
- Perform routine troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, isolate faults and repair faulty components.
- Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Inspect components before installation or usage to verify cleanliness and serviceability.
- Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to specifications.
- Perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g., jacking, towing, system operations).
- 3+ years experience with spacecraft manufacturing, assembly, modification, and repair, with extensive knowledge of repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and procedures.
- Experience working with Human Spaceflight hardware.
- Experience reading, understanding, and interpreting basic engineering drawings and specifications.
- Basic computer experience and competency.
- Familiarity with Electronic Work Order / Planning systems.
- Current skill certifications / training.
- Experienced with a calibration recall system.
- Experienced in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Familiar with ISO / IEC 17025, ANSI / NCSL Z540.1 / Z540.3, NASA Standard, and J Standard certifications.

Summary pay range: $53,550 – $72,450 USD.
