As a part of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, this Project Engineer fills a critical need on a technical team ensuring that hardware, material, and production requirements are met to support the UK Deployed Trident Reentry Systems program. This role:

• You will be responsible for coordination with the International Trade Compliance Office (ITCO) to ensure the team stays in sync with all required export control regulations.

• You will coordinate inputs from multiple internal and external partners in order to understand, combine, and implement those inputs across a variety of projects including hardware deliveries, hardware compatibility reports, program documentation, and staffing/funding tools.

• You will be responsible for the appropriate reporting of your projects to technical and program leadership

• You will work with a geographically dispersed team both virtually and face-to-face

• You will be expected to travel both international and domestic on occasion

• Strong verbal, technical writing, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience working with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required.
Desired

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Possession of a Top Secret clearance

• Experience supporting FBM Reentry Systems

• Experience supporting the United Kingdom or other international partners, including the handling of Foreign Government Information (FGI), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the Polaris Sales Agreement (PSA)

• Experience working directly with government customers both military and civilian

• Experience with process improvement initiatives

• Proposal and Basis of Estimate generation experience

• Experience with tracking financials and workforce planning metrics

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent verbal communication skills
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
