Team:
Space and Mission Systems (SMS) supporting Experimental Systems Group (ESG)
Role:
Integrated Planning & Scheduling Analyst supporting Government Satellite Programs Integrated Product Teams within the Seal Beach BDS Campus.
- Creates, maintains, and monitors detailed, short-term and long-term production schedules using Microsoft Project Server
- Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
- Performs analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives
- Creates schedule reports/metrics, manages change activity, and communicates updates to the plan regularly throughout the lifecycle of the program
- Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implements best practices that support project decision makers
- Assists customers to develop performance recovery plans ensuring all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
- Identifies performance variances, bottleneck issues, or potential scheduling impacts; proactively develops and implements recovery plans
- 1+ years of experience with standard project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project/Project Server, Open Plan Professional, or Primavera
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent tools), with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data in Excel
- Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to address unexpected scheduling conflicts
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Active TS/SCI Clearance or T‑5 SSBI
- 1+ years of experience in performing project planning and scheduling within an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or a similar business process
- Demonstrated knowledge of Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
- Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction
- Experience with Department of Defense customer communities and their project management practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing workflows
Requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.

Some travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Pay range: $94,350 – $127,650.
