This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are looking for world‑class manufacturing engineers to apply standard engineering methods to design, develop, and implement new or revised manufacturing and production processes for the efficient and economical production of aerospace products.

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single‑configuration, heavy‑lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low‑Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond.

• B | Monday – Thursday (2:30 pm–1:00 am)
• C | Friday – Sunday (6 am–6:30 pm)

• Translate engineering intent and drawings into fully functional hardware ready for test, qualification, and flight by crafting manufacturing bill of materials and work instructions.
• Identify tools and equipment required for manufacturing flight hardware.
• Provide shipside/lineside support on the manufacturing floor.
• Generate, manage, and close non‑conformance reports (NCR).
• Support introduction of new products by creating manufacturing plan artifacts including build plans, duration estimates, index plans, and tool lists.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3+ years (Level II) or 5+ years (Level III) of experience in aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicle structures, automotive manufacturing, or similar, including hands‑on machining and post‑processing.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, including GD&T.
• Strong written and technical communication skills and proficiency with CAD, issue tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other software.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships.

• Hands‑on experience with building flight hardware and advanced machining processes.
• 4+ years of engineering experience, including internships.
• Experience with design, development, or production of launch vehicle, spacecraft, or satellite components.
• Proficient with CAD software such as Creo or CATIA V5.
• Customer‑focused with proven ability to collaborate across geographic distances.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
