Job Overview:
Parrish Medical Center seeks an RN for a high-acuity MS/Tele unit. The nurse will care for PCU-level patients including cardiac telemetry, med-surg, and orthopedic care, ensuring patient safety and high-quality nursing care. Floating within scope to other units is required.

Weekend Requirement:  Every other weekend

Responsibilities:

Manage high-acuity MS/Tele and PCU patients

Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and cardiac drips (no titration)

Provide care for dysrhythmias, CVA, chest tubes, and orthopedic/total joint replacement patients

Utilize Meditech for charting

Complete orientation week and required modules pre-start

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 2 years MS/Tele or PCU experience

Patient Ratio

Experience:

1:6 (1:5 considered if documented)

Certifications:

RN License (FL or compact)

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Skills:

Telemetry, cardiac drips, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, IV therapy, orthopedic and total joint replacement care

Modules:  4 hours, non-billable
