Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
Comfort in providing PCU level of care
Ability to float within scope of practice
Available to work mandatory clinical orientation shifts

Description:

Must have experience and be comfortable with a 1:6 patient ratio.
Patients typically require PCU level of care.
Weekend requirements include every other weekend.
Floating is required within the scope of practice.
Orthopedic and total joint replacement nursing care experience is strongly preferred.
Travelers must work a minimum of five shifts during the clinical orientation week.
3 call outs may result in termination.
Notice given 48 hours in advance of a shift may result in forfeiting guaranteed hours for the pay period if refusal to change occurs.
If notice is given one week or more in advance of a shift, refusal to change may result in termination.
Travelers required to work during scheduled holidays as specified in the description.
Must have experience with cardiac drips (no titration), dysrhythmias, and CVA care.

Experience with chest tubes is necessary.
Telemetry experience is required, including both unit and remote monitoring.
Ability to manage various IV therapies and patient care protocols is essential.
Experience caring for adult and geriatric populations is required.
All travelers must be notified that they may be working with COVID-positive patients.
Additional required skills include wound care and non-invasive airway management.
Travelers should plan to complete required modules prior to start.
