Position OverviewBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) offers an exciting opportunity for a Principal Supplier Program Management Specialist (Level
6) to join the Starliner team at Kennedy Space Center, Florida;
Houston, Texas; or Huntsville, Alabama. The position is 100% onsite, first shift, and requires the ability to obtain NASA facility access also requires U.S. export control compliance (U.S. Person).
- Establish technical and business direction and processes to meet financial, delivery, and product conformity targets.
- Develop and lead company procurement and contractual strategies for key suppliers and programs.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance of strategic supplier plans.
- Direct the development of recovery plans.
- Identify strategic work movement projects and plan elements.
- Integrate company sourcing strategies, procurement, and program activities.
- Work directly with strategic customers to develop concepts and requirements for future business opportunities.
- Technical bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in a mathematics, science, or information technology field.
- More than 5 years of experience in root‑cause analysis and corrective action.
- More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
- More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
- More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes.
- More than 3 years of experience creating, interpreting, and enforcing technical requirements.
- More than 3 years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity.
- More than 3 years of experience leading test campaigns.
- More than 3 years of experience briefing customers and leadership.
Successful candidates must satisfy the company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
RelocationThe position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
TravelPosition may require travel up to 25 % of the time.

Pay & BenefitsCompetitive base pay, variable compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time off. Summary pay range:
--- FL/AL: $161,500–199,500 --- TX: $172,550–213,150
