Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) is recruiting for the position of Associate Director, Patient Data Strategy and Management for Oncology and Neuroscience within the Customer Engagement and Digital Transformation (CEDT) team. This position is based in Titusville, NJ.
Purpose:
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to assume the role of Associate Director, Patient Data Management & Operations (ONC & NS). This individual will act as the data quarterback for Patient Data for our Oncology and Neuroscience brands and will lead the data strategy, management, and operations for the current portfolio and future launches.
The Associate Director will be the primary point of contact for leading and coordinating activities related to the consumption and transformation of data from ingestion, validations, harmonization, certification, to the ongoing downstream solutions via data products, ad hoc analytics, etc. This individual governs all business process rules and provides regular communications regarding status of data quality and impact of market events.
They will collaborate with data vendors and agencies on data acquisition and contracting and ensuring value for data-related investments. Functioning as a subject matter authority, they will support ad hoc, data-centric business questions, and will partner with IT, Patient Experience, and other business partners to proactively resolve data issues and support large, complex data initiatives.
Owning the overall management and operations of patient data for the Oncology and Neuroscience portfolio, overseeing the strategy, operations, and ongoing quality of the data assets (HUB, patient support programs, specialty pharmacy, claims, etc.)
Lead the ongoing quality and application of JJIM data pipeline supporting the insights & analytics, patient experience, sales and marketing organization, ensuring high-quality data and appropriate use.
Act as key contact, or data quarterback within the StAT organization for patient data related needs, queries, and issues and advise business and stakeholder teams on the best data sources to leverage for a given business question or insight.
Lead the data governance program for the patient data for the ONC and NS portfolio; actively supervise data quality and resolve data-related issues and disruptions.
Lead data change management/ issue resolution/ data integration projects for existing products and new launches – build project plans, perform validation and change management activities.
Lead data-centric projects to resolution, through resource management, execution and communication (e.g., data onboarding, data events/disruptions).
Collaborate with internal business partners on data validation and data coordination activities for stakeholders, and reports/systems.
Engage business process owners to align on the action plan on the mitigation of data events/changes on various commercial operations processes.
Responsible for leading annual data purchase or processing budgets for assigned portfolio, build POs and collaborate with finance, procurement and business owners on supervising spending.
Maintain inventory of purchased data and promote organizational awareness of application of data in relevant use cases.
Participate in the evaluation of new data sources that may provide new insights, competitive advantage and help advise future data strategy.
