• Perform hands‑on programming, set‑up, maintenance, and upgrade of network and communications systems to support mission requirements.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot mission‑specific hardware such as voice communications, computer systems, telephones, televisions, CCTV cameras, access control systems, and fiber‑optic cabling.
• Focus on switches, routers, firewalls, and other hardware appliances.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Communications or related technical discipline, completion of a specialized trade school, or industry‑specific certification is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Communications, Networking, or IT.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP network switching, routing, VoIP telephone systems, copper CAT5 Ethernet cabling/patching, and multifunction printers and copiers.
• Additional knowledge of fiber‑optic systems/patching, IP camera systems, wireless networking (Wi‑Fi), CCTV video distribution, GPS timing systems, and radio‑frequency transmission theory is highly desired but not required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification preferred.
• Must be a United States citizen and willing to obtain a TS level security clearance.
