• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year in manufacturing environment and some knowledge of inventory processes helpful.
• Experience and understanding of Document Control is critical.
• Knowledge of inspection tools such as Calipers and Micrometers is necessary.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems utilizing computer. MAS 500 ERP systems preferred.
• Fork Lift Certificate preferred.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to ensure the receipt, issuance and tracking of all incoming raw materials, with the secondary focus being to assist with Production Control functions as needed.

• Reviews documents such as production schedules and specifications to obtain information, such as materials, priorities, and personnel requirements.
• Compiles schedules and orders, such as personnel assignments, production, work flow, transportation, and maintenance and repair.
• Monitors work progress, provides services, such as furnishing work orders and directs workers to expedite work flow.
• Requisition s and maintains inventory of materials and supplies to meet production demands.
• Calculates figures, such as labor and materials amounts, manufacturing costs, using pricing schedules/calculator.
• Maintains document control.
• Maintains files, such as maintenance records, bills of lading, and cost reports.
• Arranges for delivery and distributes supplies and parts to expedite flow of materials to meet production schedules.
