Machine Operator - Rex Engineering

Location: Titusville, FL
Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site | 1st Shift, Monday–Friday
Pay: $15.00–$16.00 per hour

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Titusville, Florida. The Machine Operator will operate and monitor production equipment, inspect parts for quality, and make basic machine adjustments as needed.

This is a hands‑on position in a manufacturing environment. The right person will be comfortable working at a steady pace, following instructions and safety procedures, and working as part of a team.

Manufacturing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Set up and operate assigned production machines according to established procedures.

Perform pre-operation checks to make sure equipment is ready for production.

Monitor machines during operation and make basic adjustments as needed.

Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment when required.

Inspect parts to make sure they meet quality and production specifications.

Make tool changes and machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality.

Identify and report machine or production problems to the appropriate supervisor.

Follow work instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and other production information.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Work with team members and other departments to maintain steady production and minimize wasted time and materials.

Perform basic preventive maintenance and other routine machine care as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus, but not required.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, diagrams, or machine instructions.

Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work well with others as part of a team.

Ability to work independently once trained.

Willingness to learn new equipment and processes.

Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods and handling materials or equipment as required.

This is a hands‑on manufacturing position that requires working around production machinery. Employees are expected to follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and wear required personal protective equipment. This facility is air-conditioned.
