1 year of neuro/stroke experience.
2 previous travel assignments required.

ACLS
BCLS
NIHSS
PALS
TNCC (preferred)
Must-Have:
Experience with level 1 resuscitation patients.
Available for every other weekend shifts.
Float within the scope required.
Ability to accommodate schedule changes as needed.
Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room.
The nurse will work night shifts, three nights a week.
The nurse must have experience with neuro and stroke patients.
The nurse should be adept in managing a patient ratio of 1:6.
The role includes floating to other areas as required.
It is essential to be able to work holidays as designated.
The nurse will be expected to provide emergency care to a diverse patient population.
The workload may include handling trauma cases and critical care patients.
Every traveler is required to adhere to time-off policies and any schedule changes.
Experience in a level 1 trauma center is preferred.
Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare professionals such as physical therapists and social workers.
The nurse will handle a patient census averaging 92 daily visits.
Successful candidates will be accountable for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Engagement in ensuring team coordination and collaboration with all staff is essential.
The role demands ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
Candidates must be willing to undertake additional training as necessary.
The position requires immediate and effective response to emergency situations.
Flexibility in providing care to patients of all age groups is essential.
Experience in additional procedures is a plus.
Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain infection control measures is critical.
This role is integral to the overall functioning of the emergency services provided.
