Parrish Medical Center (PMC), a Parrish Healthcare integrated care partner, has been in continuous operation in the North Brevard area of Florida’s Space Coast since 1958 and has been designated by NASA as an official medical receiving facility. Today, PMC is an award-winning, nationally recognized 208-bed, five story, not-for-profit, public hospital serving the North Brevard community with an array of wellness and healthcare services.

No local taxes have been levied to support the hospital's mission since 1994.

U.S. News & World Report named Parrish Medical Center a 2026 High Performing Hospital and 2026 Maternity Care Access Hospital. Parrish Medical Center is recertified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, recognized for continuous stroke treatment excellence.

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient s physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
