Responsibilities
The Referral Management Coordinator is responsible for the timely processing of inquiry and referral calls. Serves as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel involved with each transfer request. Enters call data into the facility’s database and manages all e-fax applications to process incoming referrals and transfer requests in a timely manner. Effectively communicates with unit staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff.
Follows hospital’s policies and procedures regarding referral management.
Full‑time, on‑site. Monday through Thursday, 9:30 pm – 7:30 am. Titusville, Florida.
Requirements- Education – Licensed RN or Master’s Degree from an accredited school in Behavioral Sciences.
- Licensure/Certification: RN, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT preferred. BLS required or obtained prior to direct patient care.
- Experience:
1–3 years of experience in Florida psychiatric healthcare.
