Crescent Wood Senior Living is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and hands‑on Director of Nursing (LPN) to lead our clinical team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a nursing leader who is passionate about providing exceptional care, mentoring staff, and creating an environment where residents thrive.

As our Director of Nursing, you will oversee nursing operations for our Assisted Living and Memory Care community, ensuring residents receive the highest quality care while supporting and developing a dedicated team of caregivers and nurses.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and oversee the daily clinical operations of the community.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing Assisted Living and Memory Care.
  • Participate in pre-admission assessments and evaluate prospective residents.
  • Complete resident assessments upon admission and conduct ongoing monthly and regulatory-required assessments.
  • Develop, review, and update resident care plans based on changes in condition.
  • Monitor residents for changes in physical or psychosocial status and ensure appropriate interventions.
  • Review and transcribe physician orders accurately.
  • Administer and oversee medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and the Five Rights of Medication Administration.
  • Coordinate physician, laboratory, dental, and specialty appointments for residents.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, education, and support to nursing staff and caregivers.
  • Participate in staff development, training, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with community policies, infection control standards, emergency preparedness, and life safety procedures.
  • Assist during emergencies and participate in fire safety and disaster preparedness activities.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and department leaders to promote outstanding resident care and customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • Current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, memory care, or a related healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
  • Knowledge of Florida Assisted Living regulations and nursing best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, and team members.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
