Test & Evaluation Lead

This position is responsible for managing the Test & Evaluation workflow. Maintain testing schedules, perform Range Safety Officer duties, assist with R&D testing and feedback, and handle overall workflow priorities and communication with command.

• Perform Range Safety Officer duties, including scheduling range use, range maintenance, and providing range safety to personnel.
• Inspect, maintain, repair, and test firearms, suppressors, and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate data logs for all firearms, suppressors, ammunition, equipment, etc.
• Use basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to record, update, and present data.
• Assist with R&D testing, provide feedback, and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct shooting, record accuracy, and shift on multiple firearm calibers and platforms.
• Manage the company’s testing needs efficiently, maintain records, and ensure a safe work environment.
• Advise management of changes in working conditions or significant information that may affect testing.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and operational; report shortages or malfunctions promptly.
• Oversee periodic updating of procedures manual and reference notebooks.
• Schedule, manage, and evaluate departmental workflow.
• Maintain open communication with key departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by upper management.

• Minimum 3-5 years working in the firearm industry or with firearms.
• Gunsmith experience with accuracy and precision shooting.
• Common firearm knowledge—handling, troubleshooting, and safety.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal to work in the United States.
• Must pass a criminal background check per the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms regulations.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug test.
