Aircraft Painter

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter for a direct hire opportunity in Titusville, FL. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented aviation refinishing professional with hands‑on experience preparing, painting, finishing, and inspecting aircraft surfaces in a safety-focused environment.

The Aircraft Painter will work with specialized tools, coatings, sealants, corrosion‑prevention materials, and surface treatment processes to produce high‑quality finishes that meet internal, FAA, OEM, and engineering requirements. • Prepare, mask, sand, clean, strip, and paint aircraft surfaces and components using approved tools, chemicals, and equipment.
• Mix, thin, apply, and inspect paints, primers, sealants, and corrosion‑prevention materials according to specifications.
• Perform brush cadmium plating and passivation processes in accordance with engineering, OEM, and aerospace standards.
• Monitor paint and finishing work for defects such as streaks, blisters, adhesion issues, or coverage problems, and make corrections as needed.
• Coordinate with supervision and inspection teams to ensure accurate FAA documentation, internal signoffs, and quality compliance.
• Clean, maintain, disassemble, and reassemble paint equipment, sprayers, tools, ventilators, and related shop equipment.
