Position Opportunity
Reporting to the Vice President of Cleanroom Services, the Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is responsible for partnering with and supporting the Florida Cleanroom Sales team. You will develop and maintain customer relationships, manage the Sales Pipeline, update CRM to capture communication with clients, manage incoming calls and email requests, and ensure an exceptional experience for our customers. You will also manage and lead internal sales activities such as deal stage progression, handoffs from sales to estimating to engineering, and quote/bid follow-ups.
You will partner closely with Outside Sales, Estimating, Engineering, Production Planning and Customer Service to ensure that Astro Pak exceeds our customers’ requirements and our internal goals of continuous improvement and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Outside Sales, Estimating, and Business Development to obtain and track all sales opportunities.
- Coordinate and cultivate sales opportunities from initial Request for Quote (RFQ) through handoff to Operations.
- Lead problem resolution efforts for all sales opportunities until handoff to Customer Service on arrival.
- Collaborate in sales pipeline management through daily interaction with Outside Sales, Estimating, and Operations team. Participate in preparation of sales projections.
- Primary point of contact for existing customers and accounts, engaging proactively and routinely with a focus on revenue growth.
- Follow up on bids/quotes issued to ensure continuous engagement and presence with customers. Collect feedback on lost bids to improve Sales and Estimating processes.
- Focus on being a collaborative partner for our customers, leveraging and connecting when appropriate to Operations, Engineering, Quality and Technical Services.
- Attend and support various trade shows and customer-facing events.
- Documentation and Recordkeeping
- Document all customer communication in CRM to ensure accuracy and consistency of information.
- Ensure sales opportunities are properly managed through CRM processes and stages.
- Participate in historical analysis of customer performance for weekly and monthly projection purposes.
- Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
- Analyze and manage data and projects in compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
Qualifications
Education/Training/Certifications: HS diploma required. BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, Science or Engineering field highly preferred.
Related Experience: 3 years of progressive inside sales/sales support experience required. Experience in aerospace or contract service industries highly preferred. Demonstrated competence with a Customer Relations Management software application (Microsoft Dynamics CRM highly preferred, will consider Sales Force or similar application) required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite (including Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook), with expert level knowledge of CRM software strongly preferred.
