Position: Security Officer Patrol Specialist — Titusville, FL

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.91 / Hour

Job Schedule: See below for the scheduled shifts

• Wednesday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential concerns and report maintenance, access control, and security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with site protocols, and deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support emergency and evacuation procedures, assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic when needed, and complete required reports related to daily activities and incidents.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening will be conducted to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
