Pay: $17.52 to $19.27 hourly. Salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Location:

North Area/Mims/Mims WWTP. Work schedule Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Includes stand‑by, overtime, and holidays as needed.

Job:
Performs entry‑level service work maintaining and making simple repairs to County grounds, buildings, treatment plants, lift stations and other facilities.

Requirements

No formal training or experience required.

Special Requirements

Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain it during employment.
Must be physically capable at all times of suitably wearing and using all required personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
Must be able to work planned and unplanned overtime, standby, and on‑call duties on a rotational basis, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man‑made disaster that may threaten the area, will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
