As an Avionics Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting advanced avionics systems on turbine aircraft. This is an excellent opportunity to work with sophisticated aircraft technology while contributing to a team that values quality, safety, and professional growth.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair avionics discrepancies using approved technical data.
- Perform operational checks and functional testing of complex avionics systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical wiring, data buses, and system integration issues.
- Perform scheduled inspections and support unscheduled maintenance events.
- Complete accurate logbook entries and work order documentation.
- Fabricate wiring and configure avionics systems.
- Support avionics upgrades, modifications, and system installations.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and participate in inspection activities.
- Maintain avionics test equipment and stay current with applicable service publications.
- Support aircraft interior connectivity systems as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- 3-5 years of avionics experience on turbine-powered aircraft.
- Strong knowledge of digital avionics systems, EFIS, FMS, autopilot, and integrated flight decks.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and aircraft schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and avionics system integration skills.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience working on Learjet aircraft, particularly Lear 60, 55, or 35.
