Cessna Skymaster PIC — ISR Mission Pilot; Rotational Deployments

The Mission

Execute manned ISR sorties in diverse environments, ensuring safe, precise, and compliant operations that meet contract objectives. As PIC, you’ll exercise full command authority, coordinate closely with onboard MSOs, and operate under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and the A2G Program Chief Pilot.

• Serve as PIC for operational, training, repositioning, and mission-support flights in the Cessna 337.
• Make go/no-go decisions and manage weather assessment, fuel planning, weight and balance, aircraft performance, and operational risk.
• Lead preflight planning, crew briefings, mission coordination, post-flight debriefs, and complete required flight documentation.
• Coordinate closely with MSOs, maintenance, flight operations leadership, and other mission personnel to meet assigned objectives.
• Maintain required aircraft, mission, instrument, night, and other applicable currency and proficiency.
• Comply with company FGOP, approved checklists, the aircraft flight manual/POH, contract requirements, DCMA-INST 8210-1D, and all applicable FAA regulations.
• Complete company and Government-required ground/flight training, evaluations, records, forms, and risk-management documentation.
• Champion a disciplined safety culture and exercise stop-work/stop-flight authority when unacceptable risk conditions exist.

• Initial and recurrent training conducted in Titusville, Florida.
• Rotational deployments to CONUS/OCONUS mission locations; relocation is not required.
• Employed only while in training or on deployment rotations; otherwise placed on leave without pay unless authorized by management.
• Opportunities for additional duties such as Aviation Safety Pilot, Airspace Coordinator, Pilot Scheduler, Tactical Operations Officer, or Flight Operations Manager.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience (additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree).
• Flight Time: 1,000 hours documented PIC; 300 hours PIC in a Cessna 337 or similar aircraft type.
• Certificates:
  Current FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot ATP—restricted or unrestricted.
• Medical:
  Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate.
• Citizenship/Age: U.S. citizen; minimum age 21.
• Language:
  Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• IDs:
  Valid passport and state driver’s license.
• Clearance:
  Currently active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Training & Compliance:
  Ability to meet all contractual/program training requirements.
• Screenings:
  Successful completion of background check and pre-employment/active-employment drug screenings.

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• 1,500+ hours PIC.
• FAA Multiengine Instructor MEI rating.
• PIC and instructional experience in the Cessna 337/336/O-2/Reims F337 or directly related Skymaster-family aircraft.
• Prior formal Instructor Pilot, Standardization Pilot, Check Airman, Flight Examiner, military IP, or equivalent aviation-training experience.
• ISR, special-mission, airborne-surveillance, law-enforcement-support, military, or U.S. Government contract aviation experience.
• Experience with DCMA-INST 8210-1 series, DD Form 2628 qualification processes, or GFR oversight.
