Under direct supervision of Storeroom Supervisor inventories and replenishes par level areas. Distributes materials received to all areas. Enters data into computer system. Assigns asset tags as necessary. Distributes medical gas tanks. Performs shipping and receiving duties. Stores clerk is permitted access to secured medication/supply room(s) for restocking and delivery of supplies and certain medications.

• Receives all supplies and equipment, including certain medications for the hospital. Maintain accurate receiving log.
• Inventories, distributes supplies, including certain medications to all par level areas and Pyxis System, by count sheet, hand held computers, etc. Medication room is secure and Stores Clerk is permitted access for restocking. Enters data to computer system to relieve inventory and expense receiving departments accurately.
• Distributes direct purchased items to all area of hospital.
• Inventories and replenishes oxygen cylinders (e-size) to all areas. Delivers large or (H) medical gases tanks to appropriate departments.
• Perform quarterly cycle counts for storeroom as directed by supervisor.
• Stocks shelves and help maintain accurate quality inventory, including certain medications.
• Generates requisitions for departments. Pull and deliver supplies from storeroom to departments.
• Maintain clean and organized storeroom including: individual work areas, receiving area, hallway outside of department, and supply carts in units.
• Check expiration dates on all supply cart items monthly and report finding to supervisor.
• Performs outbound shipping duties utilizing cost savings software.
