Are you an experienced Preschool Teacher, Childcare Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, or Assistant Teacher who's ready to take the next step?
Sakonnet Early Learning Center is looking for a caring, dependable Lead Preschool Teacher who wants more than just a job. We're looking for someone who wants to build a classroom children love, create meaningful relationships with families, and grow their career in Early Childhood Education.

What We OfferPay: $16.00–$19.50/hour, based on experience and qualifications

As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to create meaningful learning experiences while helping children build the skills, confidence, and independence they'll carry with them for years to come.
You’ll help:- Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities through play and exploration
- Create a welcoming and organized classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and academic development
- Encourage positive behavior and growing independence
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
- Maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
- Help make each child's day positive, meaningful, and fun
- Genuinely enjoy working with young children
- Are patient, dependable, and positive
- Enjoy bringing creativity and new ideas into the classroom
- Communicate well with families and coworkers
- Want to grow professionally in Early Childhood Education
- Value being part of a team where people support one another
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to meet required background screening requirements
