Job Details DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge concerning Twin River services, features, attractions, promotions and special events to respond accurately to guest/member's inquiries.
- Demonstrate knowledge concerning the basic functions of video lottery terminals and game themes.
- Circulate throughout the assigned room(s) on the Gaming floor, remaining visible to guests.
- Communicate with Floor Supervisors when a guest may have earned or deserves a complimentary meal or amenity.
- Act professionally when making radio transmissions.
- Return all unclaimed VLT tickets to a Floor Supervisor.
- Remain on the Gaming floor until the assigned room is clear (i.e. all guests have left the Cashier Booth area at closing).
- Perform other duties as assigned by Gaming Management.
- Recognize and respond to minors in the Casino (under the minimum age of 18 years old).
- Recognize signs of problem gaming and alcohol intoxication.
- Demonstrate knowledge concerning all aspects of the Twin Rivers Players' Club Card and encourage guest participation.
- Demonstrate knowledge concerning attractions, special events and services available in the local community.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed on the Gaming floor and in areas that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky and/or poorly lighted.
Target Hourly Range: $16.00
Qualifications ExperienceMust secure appropriate Mandated Rhode Island Department of Business Regulations License Must maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance, adhering to the Twin Rivers appearance standards. Must possess normal vision and hearing range. Must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance. Demonstrate the ability to understand and comply with departmental and company rules and regulations, and policies and procedures. Demonstrate the ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff.
High school degree required. College degree preferred. One (1) year experience in a Gaming facility. 18 years of age. Possess a thorough understanding of the RI Lottery Video Terminal Procedures pertaining to the Gaming operation. Demonstrate the ability to perform basic math. Demonstrate the ability to operate a two-way radio.
