Regional Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

* Supervise and manage the accounting department personnel.

* Maintain general ledgers for all Rhode Island properties, including sports book and I gaming operations

* Oversee monthly close process

* Aid in the preparation of monthly financial statements.

* Prepare quarterly reporting packages due to corporate

* Oversee the collections of inter-track settlements.

* Maintain contract files.

* Balance monthly cash accounts.

* Reconcile all balance sheet accounts

* Analyze various monthly general ledger accounts.

* Prepare and maintain monthly Sales Tax reports.

* Responsible for all remittances to the Rhode Island Lottery

* Responsible for federal and state remittances to the Department of Treasury and State of Rhode Island, respectively

* Responsible for submissions of marketing reimbursement packages to the Rhode Island Lottery

* Responsible for maintaining accounting policies and procedures

* Coordinates with shared services for accounting processes handled by Corporate including payroll, fixed assets, leases and income taxes

* Yearly filing of IRS reports: W2G, 1099's and 1042's.

* Backup for daily cash reporting.

* Backup for wire transfer

* Reconcile Keno reports for reimbursement of bankroll.

* Backup for Database maintenance of tote information.

* Handle all audits of Pension plans for various unions.

Target Salary Range: $135,000
